As more states legislate requirements for addressing harassment, bullying and discrimination, Isabel has prepared and delivered hundreds of training sessions designed to help administrators, supervisors, educators and youth workers prevent and intervene with inappropriate behavior.
New York’s Dignity for All Students Act requires a designated Coordinator to be trained in recognizing and responding to harassment, bullying, cyberbullying, intimidation, threats and discrimination. Isabel worked with Karen Norlander, Esq., to develop a ground-breaking premium training program for Dignity Act Coordinators that has turned out more than 250 such leaders all over New York State.
These Coordinators are prepared to turnkey training in their building; interface with students, parents and staff; assist in investigation and recommendations for each incident; set up strategies to remediate the aggressor and to assist the target; help strengthen and enhance the school’s climate and culture.
